The purchasable subscriptions are auto-renewable. Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account after you’ve confirmed your purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
Your subscriptions and the auto-renewal options may be turned off by going to your iTunes Account Settings after purchase.
Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription to the publication, where applicable. Todays Parent publishes 6 times a year. Subscriptions renew monthly.

I bought it and got an email confirming it but cant access magazine! DO NOT BUY THIS it does not work!
I have a subscription to Todays Parent and was thrilled to find out they have an iPad version. I prefer reading it on the iPad because I dont have little hands trying to rip the pages.
Not sure what happened earlier in march with the troubles downloading, but I just subscribed today, did the yearly transaction, and downloaded a back issue without any troubles.
The app works great, had no problems. The layout is really nice. This is relief after spending months (and continuing on to this day) struggling with making my Macleans subscription app work!!!
I love this magazine, but ever since the app was updated, I cant access my issues! I tried creating a new account, but I get a message saying the server isnt responding. I feel like I shouldnt have updated, but it was necessary so I could continue reading my issues. Please get the bugs worked out!
Awesome app. Extras are a nice touch too! I would contact support also, if it doesnt work; I was able to download issues back to March of 2012.
Some bad moments
I purchased a full subscription through the iPad app and the magazine wont update? The full amount was taken out of my iTunes account so Im not sure what to do. There is no way to contact the developer so hoping someone can please help. Ill change my rating once this is resolved. Thanks!
Where is my magazine? I have been charged but nothing is showing up!
I had the same problem mentioned in some reviews (purchased year subscription - didnt let me view the current issue). I deleted the app (Todays Parent) from my news stand and downloaded it again. When I opened it, it asked if I wanted to restore my purchases, this allowed me to view the full current issue. Give it a try if youre having issues! Works for me now :)
I paid for the latest issue but am not able to download it. There is no way of finding it and no link for support or help?!?! What a scam
I also got charged through my iTunes account case I bought a year subscription and it wont load to my iPad. Who do we contact. This should be free now for this inconvenience.
